Publisher Application Systems announced that Unforeseen Incidents is coming to iOS and Android on September 12. Developed by Backwoods Entertainment, this classical style interactive mystery takes players into a deadly conspiracy.
Players will follow a small-town handyman Harper Pendrell who, after unwittingly stumbling upon a dying woman in the streets, opens up a harrowing mystery in his small town.
As a mysterious disease spreads across the country, Harper teams up with a scientist, a reporter, and a reclusive artist to uncover the truth and stop the epidemic. Armed only with his trusty multi-tool, Harper faces dangerous fanatics in a fight to save humanity.
Fans of mystery titles such as Beacon Pines, Thimbleweed Park and Grim Fandango Remastered will find Unforeseen Incidents’ point and click mechanics familiar. For the unintiated, the three titles are some of the all-time best games on PC, Android, and iOS. Particularly in the genre of adventures.
This mobile version of Unforeseen Incidents preserves the original game's handcrafted 2D graphics and evocative soundtrack. Additionally, it comes with full voice acting in both English and German.
It was first released on Steam back in May 2018, earning a ‘Very Positive’ standing from over 800 reviewers. A lot of players praised its immersive adventure packed with challenging puzzles and well-written dialogue.
