Fantastic news for fans and players of the critically acclaimed roguelike Dicefolk.

On August 14, publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment announced a significant expansion to Dicefolk. Called the Will Chimeras Pack, the DLC is set to launch on August 19. Players can buy it for €4.99 on PC via Steam. And it introduces a wealth of new content. These included 21 new Chimeras, and a powerful new talisman. Players can also expect dozens of enchanted equipment pieces.

The Will Chimeras Pack deepens Dicefolk’s strategic combat by introducing Chimeras with unique mana abilities. In turn, they can 'dramatically alter the flow of battle', developers described.

A new talisman, the Talisman of Will, allows players to harness the power of these elusive creatures. Additionally, 10 new enchanted equipment pieces offer players countless new ways to customize their teams and dominate their opponents.

Alongside the paid DLC, Dicefolk will receive a free major update on August 19. This update includes a new Special Mode. It will feature various modifiers and 13 unique challenges. It will also contain over 70 new equipment pieces, four new bosses, and the Talisman of Fortune. The Talisman of Fortune grants access to all Chimeras from other talismans. Steam players can also look forward to 10 new achievements.

In Dicefolk, players take on the role of Alea, a young summoner who must unite a team of magical creatures known as Chimeras. And their task is to defeat the evil sorcerer Salem and save humanity from extinction. The game involves a strategic combat system that uses customizable dice and monster-collecting mechanics.
